Heavy on Fashion talks to Tremper T Apparel


Hello all my fashion divas and gurus! As New York Fashion has come to a closed and I am still working on all my #NYFW adverture why not give you a great interview with a apparel company with a great cause. Today, I had the pleasure to talk to the Creative Director of Tremper T Apparel, Alicia Gentile. Tremper T Apparel is a great fashion company that helps underprivileged kids.  Camp Herrlich, a non-profit children’s camp in Putnam County, that serves underprivileged kids from New York City. Tremper T Apparel.com is a 100% of the profits of each shirt will be donated directly to Camp Herrlich to help scholarship more children.

Heavy on Fashion - Black History Month Style Icon - Patrick Kelly

Hello all my fashion divas and gurus. As you all know or at least should know, it is Black History Month. So each week I will to showcase one of my favorite fashion icons. This week I will be featuring one of my favorite fashion designer Ptarick Kelly. Patrick Kelly was known for his bold and colorful style  on the 1980's. Patrick Kelly Studied Art at Jackson State University (an HBCU), and later attended Parson School of Design in NYC. Patrick Started his fahsion line in 1985. 

 With the sponsorship from Yves Saint Laurent Chairman Pierre BergĂ©, Patrick started his own fashion house in Paris called Patrick Kelly Paris in 1988.
